Questions drivers ask.

Straight answers on roadside help, what can be fixed on site, fleets and coverage.

Getting help

Is roadside assistance available 24/7?

Yes. You can call or message Fellows at any hour. Whether and how quickly a mechanic can reach you depends on your location, availability and safety.

How can I request service?

Call (437) 601-8551, message us on WhatsApp, or email Fellowsrepair24@gmail.com. For breakdowns, calling is fastest.

What information should I provide when calling?

Your exact location (and direction of travel on a highway), the truck or trailer type, what happened or what warnings you see, whether the unit is in a safe place, and a callback number.

Can a mechanic come to my current location?

Mobile mechanics are dispatched to the roadside, truck yards and jobsites where service is feasible. Call with your location and we will discuss it.

What should I do first after a breakdown?

Get the vehicle to a safe place if you can, switch on hazard lights, and set out warning devices as required. Then call us. Never work under an unsupported vehicle.

Services and limits

Which types of trucks and trailers can Fellows service?

Fellows focuses on heavy-duty trucks and commercial trailers. Tell us the make, model and issue when you call so we can confirm what we can handle.

Can all repairs be completed on-site?

No. On-site repair depends on the fault, parts, vehicle condition, safety and feasibility. We will tell you honestly if a shop or tow is the better route.

Can Fellows assist with truck no-start issues?

Yes, no-start diagnostics and service are part of what we offer. Causes can include batteries, starters, charging, fuel or electrical faults.

Can trailer air leaks and brake issues be diagnosed?

Yes. Trailer air leak and brake diagnosis are among our trailer services. Do not move a unit with unsafe air pressure.

Do you replace batteries at the roadside?

Often, if the right batteries are available. Tell us the truck type and battery setup when you call.

Why is my truck in a derate or limp mode?

Derates are triggered by a fault, often engine, sensor or emissions related. On-site diagnostics reads the codes and tests the cause so the right repair can be planned.

Fleets and coverage

Does Fellows offer fleet maintenance?

Yes. Fellows supports owner-operators and commercial fleets with mobile maintenance. Use the fleet enquiry form to describe your units.

Which GTA communities are covered?

We serve Toronto, Peel, York, Halton and Durham regions. See the service areas page for the full list.

Do you cover highways such as the 401, 407 or 400?

We serve the areas those highways run through. We are not stationed along every road, so give us your exact location and we will say what is realistic.

Can you service trailers parked in our yard?

That is what mobile service is for. Contact us with the trailer type, the issue and the location to confirm.

Pricing and timing

How much does a repair cost?

It depends on the fault, parts and location, so we do not publish fixed prices. Ask when you call and we will explain what applies to your situation.

How long until a mechanic arrives?

We do not promise arrival times. Timing depends on your location, current availability, the fault and safety. We will tell you what is realistic when you call.
